A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A DEED
QUITCLAIMING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR MUNICIPAL,
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
is desirous of acquiring the hereinafter described real prop-
erty for municipal purposes, to wit: a right of way for
public utility, sewer line, street widening and storm drain
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the
City of Anaheim to accept a Quitclaim Deed for said real
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of HOME SAVINGS AND
LOAN ASSOCIATION OF LOS ANGELES, a corporation, to quitclaim
to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California:
The Southerly 12 feet of the following described
property:
Beginning at a point on the North line of East
La. Palma Avenue, which point being 30.00 feet
Northerly of tte center line of said East
La Palma Avenue, and 406.87 feet Easterly
measured along said North line from the center
line of North Olive Street; thence Easterly
along said North line of East La Palma Avenue,
a distance of 190.00 feet; thence Northerly
along a line parallel with the said center line
of North Olive Street, a distance of 240.00 feet;
thence Westerly along a line parallel with the
said North line of East La Palma Avenue, a dis-
tance of 190.00 feet; thence Southerly 240.00
feet to the point of beginning;
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a
Quitclaim Deed for said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to
the owner of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved
by me this 24th day of May, 1960.
