THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A DEED
QUITCLAIMING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
CERTAIN REAL PRO Pr RTY FOR MUNICIPAL
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
is desirous of acquiring the hereinafter described real prop-
erty for municipal purposes, to wit: a right of way for
public utility, sewer line, street widening and storm drain
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the
City of Anaheim to accept a Quitclaim Deed for said real
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of THE PACIFIC TELEPHONE
AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY, a Corporation, to quitclaim to the
City of Anaheim all of its right, title and interest in and
to that certain easement granted to it by JULIA SCHAFFER,
affecting that certain real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to wit:
The East 7.57 Acres of the south 10.54
acres of SW 1/4 of SE 1/t of Section 3,
T -4-S, R -10 -W, S.B.B.& N.
Said anchor to be placed approximately
7.5 feet northerly from the north line of
LaPalma Street and 9141.28 feet westerly from
the easterly line of said 7.57 acre lot;
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a
Quitclaim Deed for said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to
the owner of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar .0()

of the City of Anaheim, held on the 24th day of May, 1960, by the

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
