A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property ha ve offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of LA ROY A. TURNER and MILDRED E.
TURNER, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and
across that portion of the South half of the Southeast quarter of
the Northeast quarter of the North east quarter of Section 13,
Township 4 South, Range 11 West, S. B. B. M., described as
follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of the South half of the South—
east quarter of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of
said Section 13, also being the intersection of the centerline of
Broadway Street and Magnolia Avenue; thence North 0° 17 25" East
along the centerline of Magnolia Avenue 319.58 feet; thence South
89° �9' 00" West 53.00 feet; thence South 0° 17 25" West 260.53
feet to the beginning of a curve tangent concave Northwesterly and
having a radius of 15.00 feet; thence Southwesterly along said
curve through a central angle of 89° 11 35" an are distance of
2 3.35 feet to a line tangent; thence South 89° 29 00" West 185.84
feet; thence South 0° 17 25" West 45.00 feet to a point in the
centerline of Broadway Street; thence North 89° 29 00" East along
the centerline of Broadway Street to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar (1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 24th day of May 1960.
