1960-6010WHEREAS, heretofore to wit on the 1st day of March, 1958, an
agreement of sale and purchase was made and entered into by and between
COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT NO. 2 OF ORANGE COUNTY and COUNTY SANITATION
DISTRICT NO. 3 of ORANGE COUNTY as Buyers, and the Cities of ANAHEIM,
BREA, BUENA PARK, FULLERTON, ORANGE, LA HABRA, and The SANITARY DISTRICTS
OF GARDEN GROVE, PLACENTIA and MIDWAY CITY, and THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
OF THE COUNTY OF ORANGE, the governing body of that portion of the
LA HABRA SANITARY DISTRICT (dissolved) being outside the city limits of
La Habra, and the STANTON COUNTY WATER DISTRICT, CYPRESS COUNTY WATER
DISTRICT, and LOS ALAMITOS COUNTY WATER DISTRICT, as Sellers; and
WHEREAS, since said agreement was made and entered into, the
Placentia Sanitary District has been dissolved, and that portion of the
District lying within the city of Placentia is now owned and operated and
governed by said City, and that portion lying outside the city limits of
the City of Placentia is governed by the Board of Supervisors; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL or
the CITY OF ANAHEI M that Section 1 of the Sale and Purchase
agreement dated March 1, 1956 be and the same hereby is amended to read as
follows:
That Buyers will buy, upon the terms and conditions
hereinafter set forth, the facilities hereinafter des-
cribed, and will pay the amount of $3,333,400.00, all as
set forth in Schedule "A" attached hereto, on or before
July 1, 1960,"
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Anaheim as con-
tracting agent for the Sellers be and it is hereby authorized to execute
an agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim
to amend the agreement of sale and purchase dated March 1, Ig5S, as above
set forth providing for the payment of the purchase price on or before
July 1, 1960.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said purchase price to be paid
for said facilities shall be paid to the City of Anaheim as disbursing
agent for the sellers and that said fund shall be disbursed to each of the
sellers in proportion to their respective interests and capacity rights in
the facilities sold.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
