A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility Purposes and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of LEDGER T. SMITH and
GLADYS K. SMITH, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across a portion of the Southwest quarter of the South-
west quarter of fractional Section 24, Township LI South, Range 10
West, Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as per Record of Survey,
recorded in Book 9, Page 10 of Records of Survey of Orange County
described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the Westerly
line of the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, and the South line of
Howell Street (Struck Avenue) said South line being described in
the deed to the County of Orange recorded in Book 1, Page 337,
of Deeds, records of Orange County; thence, Southwesterly along
said Westerly line of the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, a distance
of 23.62'to a point in a curve concave Southwesterly, having a
radius of 482 feet; thence, Southeasterly along said curve through
a central angle of 18 09' 43" an arc distance of 152.79 feet;
thence, North 55° 20' West to the point of beginning;
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim,
the sum of One Dollar (1,00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
