A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM TERMINATING ALL PROCEED-
INGS IN CONNECTION WITH RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F -59 -60 -84.
WHEREAS, heretofore, to wit, on or about the 12th
day of January, 1960, Application No. F- 59- 60 -84 for a change
of zone was filed with the City of Anaheim by Chester L. and
Evelyn C. Simmons, requesting that the following described
property situated in the City of Anaheim be changed from
R -1, ONE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, and R -2, TWO- FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
ZONES to C -3, HEAVY- COMMERCIAL ZONE:
All that certain land situated in the State
of California, County of Orange, City of
Anaheim, described as follows:
That portion of Lot 7 of Anaheim Extension,
as shown on a map of survey by William Hamel
and filed in the office of the County Recorder
of Los Angeles County, California, described
as follows:
Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of said
Lot 7, being a point in the center line of
E. Center Street, as shown on a map of Tract
No. 255, recorded in book 14, page 25 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California; thence North 7t! 37 25" East
115.50 feet along said center line to the
Southerly prolongation of the Westerly line
of Lot 29 of said Tract No. 255; thence North
15 16 05" West 250.38 feet to the North-
westerly corner of said Lot 29; thence South
74 37 25" West 115.50 feet to the Westerly
line of said Lot 7; thence South 15 16 05"
East 250.36 feet to the point of beginning.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did duly
hold and conduct a public hearing on the matter of the reclas-
sification of said property and did, on March 21, 1960, adopt
its Resolution No. 205 recommending that a change of zone be
denied; and
WHEREAS, a request has been received by the City
Council from Chester L. Simmons and Evelyn C. Simmons for
withdrawal of said application for a change of zone; and
the City Council does find and determine that said request
should be granted and that all proceedings in connection
with said reclassification should be terminated;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim that all proceedings in con-
nection with Application No. F- 59- 60 -84 for a change of zone
be, and the same are hereby terminated.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 26th day of April, 1960.
