1960-5950-AA RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 4396
ENTITLED, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF ONE -HOUR
PARKING SIGNS ON THE WEST SIDE OF NORTH
CLEMENTINE STREET, BETWEEN CYPRESS AND
CHARTRES STREETS".
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Municipal Code, Section 321
provides that the City Council shall, by resolution, determine
and designate the character of all official warning and
direction signs and signals; and
WHEREAS, said Anaheim Municipal Code, Section 3273,
provides that no operator of any vehicle shall park or leave
standing such vehicle for a longer period than one hour between
the hours of 9 :00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. of any day, except Sundays
and holidays, on any street or any part of any street which
has been defined or designated by the City Council as a one
hour parking area; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did on March. 4, 1958,
adopt Resolution No. 4396 authorizing and directing the
Superintendent of Streets of the City of Anaheim to piece
and .maintain "Parking Limit 1 Hour 9 :00 A.M. to 6 :00 P.N."
signs on the west side of North Clementine Street, between
Cypress and Chartres Streets, in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be
for the benefit and best interest of the citizens and
residents of the City of Anaheim to permit parking on the
west side of said portion of North Clementine for a longer
period than one hour between the hours of 9 :00 A.M. and 6:00
P.1 and that Resolution No. Li should, therefore, be
rescinded;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 4396 entitled,
"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ESTABLISHNNENT OF ONE -HOUR PARK-
ING SIGNS ON THE WEST SIDE OF NORTH CLEMENTINE STREET, BETWEEN
CYPRESS AND CHARTRES STREETS." be, and the same Is hereby
rescinded, and that said "Parking Limit 1 Hour 9 :00 A.N. to
6 :00 P.N." signs now posted on the west side of North
Clementine Street,between Cypress and Chartres Streets, be
removed.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by

1. Submit each request for testing and engineer-
ing recommendations in writing to the County
of Orange.
2. Pay within thirty (30) days from receipt of
an itemized billing from the County of Orange
the amount of said billing.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said agreement shall
become effective upon the date of execution thereof and shall
terminate on June 30, 1960, provided, however, that either
party. may terminate said agreement upon 30 days written notice,
and any tests pending at the end of the term or earlier termi-
nation thereof shall be carried through to completion.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized to execute said
agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
