A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM REQUESTING THE INCLUSION OF AN ADDITIONAL
STREET IN THE SYSTEM OF MAJOR CITY STREETS.
WHEREAS, Section 2052 of the Streets and Highways Code
of the State of California provides that the system of Major
City Streets shall be selected by the City Council on the basis
of greatest general City importance, subject to the approval of
the Department of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
selected Harbor Boulevard as a street which it desires to have
included in the system of Major City Streets, such additional
street being of importance to cross -town traffic and the in-
dustrial development of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Department of Public Works of the
State of California be requested to approve the inclusion of
that portion of Harbor Boulevard,fro.m Chapman Avenue northerly
1,320 feet, in the system of Major City Streets of the City.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by .me
this 12th day of April, 1960.
