1960-5927WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is in need of special
services in connection with a 'Soil' Corm`s1bn' Survey along the
proposed City of Anaheim Transmission Main along La Palma
Avenue and Jefferson Street; and
RESOLUTION NO. 5927
WHEREAS, Gordon N. Scott has submitted a proposal
for furnishing said professional services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
does find and determine that Gordon N. Scott has the necessary
qualifications for performing such special services and that
his proposal is a reasonable fee for performing such services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Gordon N. Scott is hereby employed
to perform special services for the City of Anaheim in making
Soil Corrosion Survey along the proposed route of the City of
Anaheim Transmission Main along La Palma Avenue and Jefferson
Street upon the following terms and conditions:

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM EMPLOYING GORDON N. SCOTT TO MAKE
A SOIL CORROSION SURVEY FOR A WATER TRANS-
MISSION NAIN.
Gordon N. Scott will perform the following:
1. All field work and laboratory inspection of
soils as necessary along said route.
2. Submit a written report estimating the
corrosive quality of the soil and probable
effect, if any, on cylinder pipe, galvanized
standard steel air vents and cast -iron blow
offs, with other information of importance
with respect to corrosion.
The City cf An ah c- im will pay the flat sum of
$1,050.00 for such special services.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVE% that the City Auditor is
hereby authorized to pay the surd of $1,050.00 upon completion
of the special services of Cordon N. Scott and upon approval
of the payment under this resolution by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 5th day of April, 1960.
