A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ing F (i0 61 25 to consider an amendment to Title
18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating.to zoning and to con-
sider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter
mentioned and described, and at said hearing did receive evidence
and reports from persons interested therein and from its staff;
and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolu-
tion containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evi-
dence presented at said hearing and a recommendation that the
proposed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that cer-
tain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City Plan-
ning Commission, the City Council did fix the 1st day of
November 1960 as the time, and the City Council Chambers
in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim as the place for a public
hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said property, hereinafter
described, from the zone in which it is now situated and the in-
corporation thereof in the zones hereinafter set forth; and did
give notice thereof in the manner and form as provided in said
Title i8 of said Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon con-
sider the summary of evidence presented at said public hearing
before the Planning Commission, its report of findings, and recom-
mendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should
be adopted and that the property hereinafter described should
be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now situated,
and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby amended, and that the following
described property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to wit:
F- 60 -61 -25
That portion the Northeast quarter of the .,iiwest quarter of
Section 21, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan
Cajon de Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, as shown
on a map recorded in book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the Nest line of said Northeast quarter,
distant thereon North 0 01' 34" East 496,05 feet from the North-
west corner of Tract No. 1979, as shown on a map thereof recorded
in book 89, pages 2 to 5 inclusive of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of said Orange County, and running thence North 89 26' 50" East
parallel with the North line of said Northeast quarter, 736.86
feet, more or less, to a line which is parallel with, and distant
550.00 feet Westerly from the lest line of the right of way of the
Southern Pacific Railroad, 60 feet wide; thence Northerly along
said parallel line, 835.00 feet to the North line of said North—
east quarter; thence along said North line, South 89 26' 50" West
450.15 feet, more or less, to a line which is parallel with, and
distant 284.00 feet Easterly from the West line of said Northeast
quarter; thence along said parallel line, South 0 01' 34" West
459.00 feet; thence South 89 26' 50" West parallel with the North
line of said Northeast quarter, 284.00 feet to the west line of
said Northeast quarter; thence along said West line, South 0 01' 34"
West 376.02 feet to the point of beginning,
be excluded f rom the h —A, RESIDENTIAL— AGRICULTURAL ZONE,
and incorporated in the following zone or zones: R -3, MULTIPLE
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE,
upon the conditions hereinafter set forth:
1. That a subdivision map of subject property be recorded in the
Office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California,
or-«-
A. That the owner of subject property deed to the City
of Anaheim a strip of land 53 feet in width, from the
center line of the street, along Ball Road for street
widening purposes.
B. (1) That all engineering requirements of the City of
Anaheim, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks, street
grading and paving, drainage facilities, or other
appurtenant work be complied with as required by the
City Engineer and in accordance with standard plans
and specifications on file in the Office of the City
Engineer; and (2) that a bond in an amount and form
satisfactory to the City of Anaheim be posted with the
City to guarantee the installation of said engineering.

C. That the owner of subject property pay to the City of
Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front foot for street
lighting purposes.
2. That the owner of subject property pay to the City of
Anaheim the sum of $25.00 per dwelling unit, to be used
for park and recreation purposes, said sum to be paid at
the time the building permit is issued.
3. That the height of the buildings to be constructed on
subject property be limited to the provisions of the
tnaheim Municipal Code, unless an increase in height is
authorized by special use permit or variance.
4, That revised plot and building plans for each stage of
development shall be presented to the City Council for
approval.
5. That Condition No, 1 or Conditions A, B(2) and C above
mentioned be complied with within a period of 100 days
from date hereof, or such further time as the City
Council may grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and de-
termined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
