A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR RQAD AND PUBLIC T TIL ITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility
purposes and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of JAMES B. KERWIN and ROBERTA A. KERWI ^I
husband and wife
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and _public utility Durooses 9
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that parcel of land being a portion
of Lot 16 of Anaheim Extension as shown on a map
of Survey made by William Hamel filed in the Office
of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of
Placentia Avenue with the centerline of South Street;
thence South 74° 36' 05" West along the centerline of
said South Street a distance of 261.10 feet; thence
South 15 45' 25" a distance of 32.00 feet; thence
North 74° 36' 05" East a distance of 189.62 feet to
the beginning of a curve concave Southwesterly and
having a radius of 15.00 feet; thence Easterly and
Southerly along said curve through a central angle
of 105 29' 10" an arc distance of 27.62 feet to a
point in a line parallel with and 53.00 feet Westerly
of the centerline of said Placentia Avenue; thence
Southerly along the last mentioned paralpl line a
distance of 144.12 feet; thence North 74 36' 05"
East 53.00 feet to the said centerline of Placentia
Avenue; thence North 0 05' 15" East 195.84 feet
to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 18th day of October 1960
