A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM'CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes,
to wit: An easement for road and public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell and con—
vey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it
is for the benefit and best interest of the. City of Anaheim to accept
said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that the offer of PLAX CORPORATION, a corporation organized
under the laws of the State of Delaware, to sell to the City of Anaheim
the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for road
and public utility purposes, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Northerly 25.00 feet of the
Southerly 45.00 feet of the following described
parcel of land:
That portion of the Southeast quarter of the North—
west quarter of Section 23, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, in the Rancho San Juan de Santa Ana, in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as
said section is shown on a map recorded in Book 51, Page 10,
Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder
of said county, lying East of a line which is parallel
with and 30.00 feet Northeasterly from the center of the
Southern Pacific Railroad, as described in the Deed to
said Railroad, recorded October 6, 1900, in Book 50,
Page 197 of Deeds, records of said county and lying West
of the following described line:
Beginning at a point in the Northerly line of said
Southeast quarter, distance Westerly 672.84 feet from
the Northeast corner thereof; thence Southerly to a
point on the Southerly line of said Northwest quarter
distant Westerly 674.40 feet from the Southeast corner
thereof.
SUBJECT TO:
(1) Taxes for the fiscal year 1960 -1961, a lien not
yet payable.
(2) Covenants, conditions, restrictions, reservations,
rights, rights —of —way and easements, if any.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar 41.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 18th day of October 1960
