A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ES-
TABLISHMENT OF BOULEVARD STOP SIGNS ON GILBUCK
DRIVE AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH CRONE AVENUE.
WHEREAS, Section 21351 of the California Vehicle
Code provides that local authorities in their respective
jurisdiction shall have authority to place and maintain,
or cause to be placed and maintained, such traffic signs
as may be necessary to indicate and to carry out the pro-
visions of the California Vehicle Code and local traffic
ordinances, or to regulate, warn or guide traffic; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that to eliminate
traffic hazards and promote the safety and welfare of citi-
zens and residents of the City of Anaheim, boulevard stop
signs should be established and maintained on Gilbuck Drive
at the intersection of Gilbuck Drive and Crone Avenue, in
the City of Anaheim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Chief of Police be, and he
is hereby, authorized and directed to place and maintain
boulevard stop signs on Gilbuck Drive, on both sides, at the
intersection of Gilbuck Drive and Crone Avenue, in the City
of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the stop signs so
established and maintained shall conform to the regulations
of the California Vehicle Code as to size and design.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this.11th day of October, 1960.
