1960-6359A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF
PARKING GATES AT THE ENTRANCE TO PARKING LOT
NO. 10 LOCATED AT 125 WEST CHARTRES STREET.
WHEREAS, traffic in the City of Anaheim must be better
controlled in order to provide a more orderly movement of traffic
in said City; and
WHEREAS, the, parking of motor vehicles on the streets
of the City of Anaheim adds to the traffic problem, and
WHEREAS, the installation of a parking gate system on
Parking Lot No. 10 located at 125 West Chartres Street, will
materially alleviate traffic congestion in that area of the
City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the city owned parking lot described as:
Parking Lot No. 10 located at 125 West Chartres
Street;
shall have a parking gate system installed, which system shall
be designed to permit operation by cards sold on a monthly
basis and by insertion of coins.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and
he is hereby authorized to arrange for the installation of such
parking gate system at the earliest possible date.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 4th day of October, 1960.
