IZHIREAS, recuest has been ra(ie for the abandoni ent of easeents for road and public utility purposes upon, over, across, along and through the property hereinaft(r described;nnd IHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheiw does elect to proceed under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 191, to abandon or vacate said easements for street pur- poses and under the provisions of the Public Service Easement Vacation Law, Title 5 Division 1, article of the Gcvernient Code, to abandon said public utility easeulents. The westerly 30 feet of that parcel of land located in the City of Anaheiw, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: Con on the west side of Pal Avenue at a 2x) stake, 71 feet east of the southeast corner of Section J, Township II South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and thence westerly along said section line 11 feet to a 2xn sta"\e 7.6 feet east of a fence post; thence South 30' East 53.5 fcei to a stake; thence North 7)!° 30' East 1110. feet to the west line of PalT Ave- nue; thence North 1,Y 301 Vest along said west line of Pain Avenue 237.7 feet to the point of beoinring. ET-CET the northerly -2- 53 feet thereof; and that it does elect to proceed under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941, and under the provisions of the Public Service Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article r-; of the Government Code; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that reference is hereby made to a 1Tap on file in the Office of the City Clerk for further particulars as to the proposed vacatien, abandonment and closing to public use of said easements for road and public utility purposes; and DE IT FURTHER. RESOLVED that a time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation and abandonment shall be fixed not less than fifteen (15) days from the date of the passage of this resolution. That the 18th day of October 1960, z‘,t 7:00 otclock in the Council Chamber in the City Hall in the City of AnaheiT is hereby fixed as the time and place for a public hearing on the matter of such vacation, abandonment and closing to public use of said easements for road and public utility purposes, for all persons interested in or objecting to such proposed vacation, abandonment and closing to public use to appear and show cause, if any they have, by such easements and the use thereof for the purposes hereinabove mentioned should not be vacated, abandoned and closed to public use; and LE IT FIJRTHP. R.ESOI_VF.0 that notices of such proposed vacation and abandonlnent of said eascents and the use thereof for the purposes herein mentioned shall be posted conspicuously along the lines of said easements at least ten (10) days before the date set for said .hearing. Such notices -Sbll he posted not more than 300 feet apart, and at least three (3) sock no- tices shall be posted along t1i r3 line of each easement proposed to be vacated.
