1960-6251RESOLUTION NO. 6251 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution de- claring its intention to change the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, and did fix a time and place for the holding of a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and did duly hold and conduct such public hearing to consider said proposed change of zone or zones, and did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and reasons for recommending an amendment to said Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to effect the proposed changes in the boundaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and described; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the 2nd day of August 19 60 as the time and the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone or zones, and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon con- sider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the property and area proposed to be changed from the zone in which it is now situated to a different zone or zones, as herein- after set forth, is more suitable for the zone in which it is now incorporated, and that a change of zone should not be granted. NOW, THEREVORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit: That portion of Lot 29 of Anaheim Extension, in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as surveyed by William Hamel, December 11, 1863 and filed for record in the Office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, a copy thereof being on file in the Office of the County Recorder of Orange County, Calif- ornia in Book 3, Page 163 et seq., of Los Angeles County Iviaps, and that portion of Citron Street abandoned by the Board of Supervisors by petition filed I 7, 191' in Road Boo:: 2, Page 23l; in the Office of the County Clerk of said Orange County, described as a whole as follows: Beginning at the center line intersection of Vermont Avenue (form- erly Broad Street) and Citron Street, as shown on said crap; thence South 15° 38 10" East, 389.1 7 feet along the center line of said Citron Street to the true point of beginning; thence South 7 27' 14„ West, 163.11 feet parallel with said center line of Vermont Avenue to the beginning of a tang1 t curve, concave northerly and f- 60 -61 -1 of 30.
