A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR A WATER TRANSMISSION
MAIN
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for a water transmission
main and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of SANTIAGO LAND COMPANY,
a California Corporation,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for a Water Transmission Main
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for a Water Transmission Main, over, under
and across a strip of land 30.00 feet in width, described as

Commencing in the Southwest line of Lot 1, Tract 58, per
map recorded in Book 10, page 6, of Miscellaneous Maps of Orange
County, California, at the intersection thereof with a curve in
the Southeast line of the parcel of land conveyed to the State
of California by deed recorded in Book 1743, page 331, of Official
Records of said County, said point of commencing being described
as the point of beginning in a deed to said State recorded in Book
2945, page 36, of said official records, and running thence S 38
57' 26" E along said lot line 149.06 feet to an angle point therein;
thence S 51 08' 26" E along said lot line 34.77 feet; thence S 55
17'48" W 48.27 feet; thence S 38 19' 37" W 153.71 feet to a line
parallel with and distant southwesterly 200 feet, measured at right
angles, from said portion of the Southwest line of Lot 1, bearing
S 51 o8' 26" E; thence S 51 08' 26" E parallel with said lot line
75.00 feet to the true point of beginning; thence N 51° 08' 26" W
75.00 feet; thence N 38° 52' 04" W 222 feet, more or less, to said
Southeast highway line.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be and he is hereby authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim
the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
