A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property ha Ve offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of ROLLO A. LURKING AND
FLORENCE C. LURKING, husband and wife, and UAW 114J7U511ilAL J3UILDiMiS
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across, the Northerly 53.00 feet of that
portion of the East half of Section 3, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian,
described as follows;
Beginning at a point 481.33 feet West of the Northeast
corner of the Northwest quarter of said Section 3; thence
Southerly parallel with the East line of said Northwest
quarter a distance of 905.00 feet; thence Westerly parallel with
the North line of said Northwest quarter a distance of
481.33 feet; thence Northerly Parallel with the East
line of said Northwest quarter a distance of 905.00 feet
to the North line of said Northwest quarter; thence
Easterly along the North line of said Northwest quarter
to the point of beginning;
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Easterly 52.70 feet of the
Northerly 207.00 feet.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 26th day of July 1960.
