A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the "benefit and best interest of the City off'
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of JOSEPH A. IARTINEZ and ROSINA
MARTINEZ, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Southerly 53.00 feet of that por-
tion of the West half of the Southeast quarter of the
Southeast quarter of Section 15, Township 4 South,
Range 11 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, des-
cribed as follows:
Beginning at a point in the South line of the West half
of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of
said 5ection.15,378.51 feet Westerly of the Southeast
corner thereof and running thence Westerly 82.69 feet
along the South line of the West half of said Section
15, thence Northerly parallel with the West line of
said West half 535.72 feet to the Southerly line of the
Pacific Electric Railroad right of way, thence South-
easterly along said Railroad right of way line a distance
of 103.16 feet, thence Southerly parallel with the
West line of said West half a distance of 473.60 feet
to the Point of beginning;

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar 41.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 26th day of July 1960.
