A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT TO BE MADE AND
ENTERED INTO BY AND :BETWEEN THE ,CITY OF
ANAHEIM AND ORANGE COUNTY CONTROL DIS-
TRICT WITH REFERENCE TO THE LOCATION-AND-`
INSTALLATION OFjA 36" WATER TRANSMISSION
MAIN.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is presently contemplat-
ing the construction of a 36" water, transmission main; and
WHEREAS, said water transmission main will cross the
Santa Ana River, Orange County Flood Control District Bond
Project No. El,,rdownstream of the Riverside Freeway; and
this
ATTEST:
WHEREAS, the Orange County Flood Control District
has submitted to the City Council an agreement to be made and
entered into between the City and said Orange County Flood
Control District with _reference to ,the location and installa-
tion of said water transmission main, which agreement the
City Council finds would be for the benefit and best interest
of the City of Anaheim and should be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the agreement this day submitted
to the City Council by the Orange County Flood Control District,
to be made and entered into by and between the City of Anaheim
and said Orange County Flood Control District, with reference
to the location and installation of a 36" water transmission
main across the Santa Ana River, Orange County Flood Control
District Bond Project No. El, downstream of the Riverside
Freeway, the terms and conditions of which agreement are as
follows:
1. The Cityis contractor shall locate said 36"
water transmission main as shown on sheets
4 and 5 of Plan No. D -748, entitled "Water
Transmission Main, Unit No. 1" and shall do so
at no expense to said Orange County Flood
Control District.
2. Orange Comity Flood Control District shall
consent and agree to the location and installa-
tion of said water transmission main in accord-
ance with said sheets 4 and 5 of Plan No. D 74 8
entitled "Water Transmission Main, Unit No. 1."
be, and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said agreement
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
