A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement forroad and public utility
purposes and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to tie City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of GENERAL FOODS CORPORATION, a
corporation
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for easement for road and public utility purposes
and more particularly es a as o ows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Southerly 60.00 feet and the Easterly
53. feet of that parcel of land, being that portion of
the East half of the Southeast quarter of Section 23,
Township South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and
Meridian, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Section 23; thence
along the South line thereof N. 89 59' 49" West, 1322.83
feet to the West line of the East half; thence N. 0 10 29"
West along said West line 1511.32 feet to a point on a curve
concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 5929.58 feet;
thence Southeasterly along said curve, from a tangent which
bears south 50° 35 29" East through a central angle of
7 51 18" a distance of 812.92 feet to the East line of the
West 660.00 feet of said East half; thence s. 79° 23 50" East
298.32 feet to the North line of the South 985.00 feet of
sa!r East half; thence Southeasterly along the arc of a curve
concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 5829.58 feet from
a tangent which bears South 61 11 08" East through a central
ancle of L.° 05' 19" a distance of 415.97 feet to the East
line of said Section; thence S. 0 06 10" East along said
East line 797.69 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
