A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for public utility Par Poses
and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property ha ve offered to
sell and convey the same to The City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of RUSSEL 0. ROQUET and DOROTHY B. ROQUET,
husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for public utility purposes over, under and across the
Westerly 20.00 feet of the Easterly 50.00 feet of that portion of the
following described parcel of land:
That portion of Lot 7 of Anaheim Extension, according to the maps of
surveys made by William Hamel, acknowledged by Alfred Robinson Trustee
and on file in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County,
California, described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the centerline of Placentia Avenue
with the centerline of the right —of —way of the Anaheim Union Water Company,
a corporation, as said right —of —way was established by a judgment of the
Superior Court of the State of California, in and for the County of Orange,
in an action entitled Anaheim Union Water Company, a corporation, Plaintiff
vs. H. F. H. Schneider, et al. Defendants and being case No. 6468, a
certified copy of said judgment being recorded in Book 281, page 126 Deeds,
records of said Orange County and running thence North 0 07' 25" East
along said centerline of Placentia Avenue 91.5 feet to the true point of
beginning of the boundary of the land described; thce S 81 43' 25"
West parallel with the centerline of said right —of —way of the Anaheim
Union Water Company, a corporation 156 feet; thence N. 0 07' 25" East
parallel with said centerline of Placentia Avenue to the Southerly line
of land conveyed to J. F. Burgess and wife, by deed recorded July 9, 1948
in Book 1666, page 467 of Official Records in the office of the County
Recorder of said Orange County; thence N. 74 33' 10 "East along said
Southerly line to an angle point therein; thence N 79 or 55" East 89
feet to said centerline of Placentia Avenue; thence S. 0 36' 25" East
along said centerline 158.5 feet to the true point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
