A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR POLES AND ELECTR P, OWER
LINES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for Poles and .electric
,Dower lines and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to tie City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of CAROLINE PLUMB GRIFFITH. a widow
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for poles and electric power lines
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for poles and electric power lines over
and across the Westerly 20.00 feet of the Easterly 5Q.00
feet of Lot 3 of Anaheim Extension, as said Lot is shown
on a map of survey made by William Hamel, dated December 11, 1868,
signed by A Robinson, Trustee and filed in the Office of the
County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California. The
Easterly line of said Lot being the centerline of Placentia
Avenue.
Excepting therefrom the Southerly 288.20 feet being
more particularly described in the deed to the Anaheim
Community Congregational Church, a corporation, recorded
June 9, 1959, in Book 4750, Page 96 of Official Records
of Orange County, California.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 13th day of December 1960
