A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR POLES AND ELECTRIC POWER
LINES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for poles and electric power
lines 9 and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of WTI.I.TAM M_ RAIIM and MARY E. RAIN,

to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California
to be used for easemept fox Does and a ctric Dower lines, 9
and more particularly described as follows:
The Westerly 20.00 feet of the Easterly 50.00 feet of that
portion of Lot 7 of Anaheim Extension, as said Lot is shown
on a map of Survey made by William Hamel, dated December 11, 1868,
signed by Robinson Trustee and filed in the office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Sycamore
Street and Placentia Avenue and running thence Southwesterly
along said centerline of Sycamore Street 181.15 feet; thence
South 0 07' 25" West parallel with said centerline of Placentia
Avenue 135.70 feet; thence Northeasterly parallel with said
centerline of Sycamore Street 181.15 feet to the point of
intersection with the centerline of Placentia Avenue; thence
North 0 07' 25" East along said centerline of Placentia
Avenue 135.70 feet to the point of beginning. Excepting
therefrom that portion lying within Sycamore Street.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar 41.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
