A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM INSTRUCTING THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS
TO POST CERTAIN PROPERTY, NOTIFYING THE OWNERS
THEREOF TO CONSTRUCT CURBS AND SIDEWALKS UPON AND
ALONG CERTAIN STREETS WHERE SIDEWALKS OR CURBS, OR
BOTH, FOR A TOTAL FRONTAGE OF MORE THAN FIFTY PER
CENT ON ONE SIDE OF THE STREET, HAVE ALREADY BEEN
CONSTRUCTED.
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that sidewalks or curbs, or
both, for a total frontage of more than fifty per cent on one side of the
street, in the blocks where the hereinafter described properties are
located, have already been constructed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does further find that the owners of
the hereinafter described real properties situated in the City of Anaheim
should be notified to construct, or cause to be constructed, curbs or
sidewalks, or both, in front of the properties owned by them, and that
they should be so notified by the Superintendent of Streets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that the owners of the hereinafter described real properties
and premises be ordered and directed to construct curbs or sidewalks,
or both, as the case may be, in front of the properties owned by them.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Superintendent of Streets
be, and he is hereby, instructed to notify the owners of said herein-
after described properties to construct curbs or sidewalks or both in
front of the properties owned by them, and that such notice be given in
the form and manner as provided by Sections 5876, 5877, 5878, 5878.1 and
5879 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 13th day of December, 1960,
at the hour of 7:00 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chamber in the City Hall
is hereby fixed as the day, hour and place when the City Council will
hear and pass upon objections or protests, if any, which may be raised
by any property owner or other interested persons to the construction
and installation of said curbs and sidewalks.
The owners of the properties whom the Superintendent of Streets
is hereby instructed to notify as herein provided, and the description
of the properties owned by them and to be posted with notice, as required
by Section 5878 of the Streets and Highways Code, are as follows:
Lot 10, Tract No. 2015 (Assessor's Parcel No. 128- 433 -10)
Owners Charles W. Jacobson and Ruth H. Jacobson,
husband and wife, as joint tenants.
Lot 32, Tract No. 2015 (Assessor's Parcel No. 128 431 -30)
Legal owner Miles Thomas Company, a Limited Partnership,
composed of Miles Thomas as General Partner, and the Griffith
Company, a corporation, as Limited Partner.
Purchaser under Contract Robert T. Bick, a single man.
Lot 79, Tract No. 2015 Assessor's Parcel No. 128 432 -22)
Owner Thomas J. Harrison, a single man.
Lot 82, Tract No. 2015 (Assessor's Parcel No. 128 431 -03)
Owners Robert D. Johnson and Thelma Lee Johnson, husband
and wife, as joint tenants.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 29th
day of November, 1960.
