1960-6454RESOLUTION NO. 6454 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING VARIANCE NO. 1303. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a petition for zoning variance from William and Genowefa Hurley, owners of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: Lot 221 of Tract 2377, as per map recorded in Book 75, Pages 29 to 35, both inclusive, of Miscellaneous Maps in the Office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California. AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on October 17 1960 notice of which said public hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, did adopt Resolution No. 100 Series 1960-61 denying Variance No. 1303 and WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty (20) days from the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was filed with the City Council of the City of Anaheim protesting the action of the City Planning Commission denying said variance, and 'said appeal was set for public hearing on November 15 1960 at 7:00 o'clock P.M. at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, and notice of such public hearing was duly given as required by law and the provi- sions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, after due investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all the evidence and reports offered at said hearing, the City Council does find and de- termine that: 1. There is no substantial property right possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone and denied the subject property. 2. It appears that the subject property can be adequately developed and used under the present zone. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission -1- denying the petition of William and Genowefa Hurley, 1703 Crone Avenue, Anaheim, California, for a zoning variance permitting the operation of a T.V. Repair and Sales Shop in the garage on the property hereinabove described be, and the same is hereby sustained, and that Variance No. 1303 be, and the same is hereby denied.
