RESOLUTION NO. 6446
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
1 purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of ORANGEWOOD DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, a
partnership composed of MORRIS M. LOEB, JOSEPH D. SPOUND, ELI D. GOODSTEIN, ALBERT M.
SPOUND and ROSE C. SPOUND.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Southerly 50.00 feet and the
Easterly 53.00 feet of the following described parcel
of land:
The East half of the Southeast quarter of the Northeast
quarter of Section 26, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
San Bernardino Base and Meridian in the Rancho San
Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a map recorded
in book 51, page 10 Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
