A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR WATER TRANSMISSION PIPELINES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for water transmission
pipelines and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the'benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of SANTA ANA VALLEY IRRIGATION COMPANY. a
California corporation
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California
to be used for an easement for water transmission pipelines 9
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement 30 feet in width for the construction,
reconstruction, maintenance, and repair of water
transmission pipelines and appurtenances necessary
thereto over, under and across that certain Santa
Ana Valley Irrigation Company Canal right of way, the
centerline of which is shown on a map thereof filed
in Book 4, page 45 of Records of Survey of Orange
County, California, the centerline of said 30- foot -wide
easement to intersect said Santa Ana Valley Irrigation
Company right of way centerline at a point distant thereon
N 45 42' E 120.05 feet from the Southwesterly terminus
of that certain course shown on said map as N 45 42'
E 296.08, said centerline of the 30- foot -wide easement
to bear N 39 39' 25" W across said Canal right of way.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
