A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM GRANTING A HOUSE MOVING PERMIT TO
ORANGE AVENUE BAPTIST CHURCH TO MOVE A BUILD-
ING FROM 701 WEST BROADWAY, ANAHEIM, TO 1853
WEST ORANGE AVENUE, ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the Orange Avenue Baptist Church having
filed a written application for a house moving permit to move
a building from 701 West Broadway, Anaheim, California to
1853 West Orange Avenue, Anaheim, California; and
WHEREAS, said application having been set for public
hearing on the 1st day of November, 1960, at the hour of 7 :00
otclock P.M., and notice of the time and place fixed for said
public hearing having been given by mail to all persons resid-
ing within a radius of three hundred feet from the property
upon which it is proposed to move said building or structure,
at least ten days prior to the date fixed for said hearing, as
the names of such owners appeared upon the last available
tax assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, said matter having come on regularly for
hearing upon said date and said hearing having been duly held
and conducted and all persons interested therein given an op-
portunity to be heard, and the City Council having duly con-
sidered said application, together with all evidence and re-
ports submitted in connection therewith, does find that said
permit should be granted, subject to the following conditions:
1. That the owner of the property located at
1853 West Orange Avenue, Anaheim, California,
upon which said building is to be moved, deed
to the City of Anaheim a strip of land 32
feet in width from the center line of the
street, along Orange Avenue, for street widen-
ing purposes.
2. That all engineering requirements of the City
of Anaheim, such as curbs and gutters, side-
walks, street grading and paving, drainage
facilities, or other pertinent work be com-
plied with as required by the City Engineer
and in accordance with standard plans and
specifications on file in the Office of the
City Engineer; and (b) that a bond in an
amount and form satisfactory to the City
of Anaheim be posted with the City to guar-
antee the installation of said engineering
requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the application of the Orange Avenue
Baptist Church for a house moving permit to move a building from
701 West Broadway, Anaheim, California, to 1853 West Orange Ave-
nue, Anaheim, California, be, and the same is hereby, granted,
subject to the conditions hereinabove set forth, and further sub-
ject to compliance with all of the provisions of Title 15, Chap-
ter 15.32 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, relating to the moving
of buildings from a point within the City of Anaheim onto a
lot within the City of Anaheim.
