A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
CONVEYANCE THEREOF.

WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of the herein-
after described property; and
WHEREAS, said real property is no longer needed for
municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS, VISTA FURNITURE COMPANY, a California corpora-
tion, has offered to purchase said real property for the sum of
$2,000.00 cash, lawful money of the United States, to be de-
posited in escrow at United California Bank, Anaheim Office,
Anaheim, California, and paid to the City at the close of
escrow; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is for the
benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to%
accept said offer and sell and convey said real property to
said Vista Furniture Company upon the terms and conditions
hereinafter specified.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of Vista Furniture Company,
a California corporation, to purchase the following described
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California:
That parcel of land being a portion of the land
owned by the City of Anaheim, being a portion of the
West half of the Southeast quarter of Section 3,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M.,
described as follows:
Commencing at the center line intersection of Olive
Street and Juliann Street, as said intersection is
shown on a Record of Survey Map filed in Book 55,
Page 24 of Record of Surveys in the office of the
County Records of Orange County, California; thence
along the center line of said Olive Street North
0 02' 00" West a distance of 405.92 feet; thence
South 89 59' 40" East 100.00 feet to the true
point of beginning of the land herein described;
thence South 0 02' 00" East 29.90 feet; thence
South 89 59' 40" East 170.00 feet; thence North
0 02' 00" West 29.90 feet; thence North 89 59' 40"
West 170.00 feet to the true point of beginning.
for the sum of $2,000.00 cash, lawful money of the United
States, be accepted upon the following terms and conditions:

1. That $2,000.00 cash, lawful money of the United
States, be placed in escrow with United California
Bank, Anaheim Office, Anaheim, California, to be
paid to the City at the close of escrow, said
escrow to be complied with on or before March 15,
1962, or as soon thereafter as possible.
2. That said property shall be sold subject to
covenants, conditions, restrictions, reserva-
tions, rights, rights of way and easements of
record.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute a good and
sufficient deed conveying to said Vista Furniture Company, a
California corporation, the real property hereinabove described,
and to deliver said deed into escrow at United California Bank,
Anaheim Office, Anaheim, California, to be delivered to said
Vista Furniture Company, a California corporation, upon com-
pletion of the said escrow and the payment of the full purchase
price as hereinabove provided.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City
of Anaheim be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to
certify a copy of this resolution and cause the same to be
attached to the deed to be executed by the Mayor and the
City Clerk on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 6th day of February, 1962.
