A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR THE INSTALLATION AND
MAINTENANCE OF A SEWER LINE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for the
installation and maintenance of a sewer line and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property ha Ve offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of HARLEY L. HOSKINS and
BETTY J HOSKINS husband and wife
to sell to the City oAnaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for the
installation and maintenance of a sewer line
and more partfcuharly described as follows:
An easement for the installation and maintenance of a
sewer line over, under and across the Westerly 10.00
feet of the Easterly 40.00 feet of that portion of
Lot Seven (7) of the Anaheim Extension of said lot
is shown on a Map of Survey made by William Hamel,
dated December, 1868, signed by Robinson, Trustee, and
filed in the office of the County Recorder of Los
Angeles County, California, being described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of that certain parcel
of land conveyed to Fred O. Thompson and Ethel Thompson
by deed recorded December 2, 1944 in Book 1286, page 419
of Official Records, said point being located on the
center line of Placentia Avenue at a point 213 feet
North 0 07 30" East from the intersection of said
center line with the center line of East Center Street,
running thence North 0 07 30" East 191.26 feet along
said center line to the true point of beginning; thence
South 77° 52 20" lest 377.eo feet tc point in
the West line of said parcel, said point also being
North 12° 08' West 166.63 feet from the Southwest corner
of said parcel; thence North 12 08 West 81.63 feet to
the Northwest corner of said parcel; thence North
74 52' 30" East 401.65 feet to the Northeast corner
of said parcel; thence South 0 17 30" West 105.23
feet along the Easterly line of said parcel to the
point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.

SE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor or the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to p* to the owners
of said real property out bt General lands of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00)
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
