A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY,
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of THERESA A. REES, a widow,

property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Easterly 45.00 feet (as measured
at right angles from the center line of Lemon Street)
of that portion of Lot 5, Miles Rancho, as shown on a
Map recorded in Book 4, page 7 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California, described as
follows:
Beginning at a point on the East line of said Lot 5,
said point being on the center line of that certain
60 foot road, commonly known as Lemon Street, said
point also being distant thereon North 0 02t 38"
West 340.15 feet from the intersection of said Lemon
Street center line with the center line of that
certain road adjoining said lot on the South; thence
South 89° 54 00" West, 335.36 feet to a point; thence
North 0° 00 38" West 80 feet; thence North 89° 541 00"
East, parallel with the South line of said Lot 5,
335.31 feet to a point on the center line of said
Lemon Street; thence South 0 02 38" East along
said East line, 80 feet to the point of beginning.

City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.

of Anaheim be and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out Of General, FUnds of the City of
Anaheim, the suns of One Dollar ($1
