A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE ATCHISON, TOPEKA
AND SANTA FE RAILWAY COMPANY FOR THE IN-
STALLATION OF FOUR FLASHING LIGHT SIGNALS
AT THE BROALWAY STREET CROSSING OF SAID
RAILWAY COMPANYtS TRACK (CROSSING NO. 2- 167.9).

WHEREAS, it is mutually agreed by the City of
Anaheim and The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Raiiway Company
that four No. 8 flashing light signals without back lights
should be installed at the Broadway Street crossing of said
Railway Companyts track, designated by the Public Utilities
Commission of the State of California as Crossing No.
2- 167.9; and
WHEREAS, The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway
Company has tendered to the City of Anaheim an agreement,
dated January 23, 1962, to be made and entered into by and
between the City and said Railway Company for the installation
and maintenance of said flashing light signals, which agreement
the City Council finds would be for the benefit and best inter».
est of the City and should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the agreement, dated January 23,
1962, tendered to the City of Anaheim by The Atchison, Topeka
and Santa Fe Railway Company providing for the installation
and maintenance of four No. 8 flashing light signals at the
Broadway Street crossing of said Railway Companyts track,
designated by the Public Utilities Commission of the State of
California as Crossing No. 2- 167.9, upon the terms and condi-
tions set forth in said agreement, be and the same is hereby
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized to execute said agreement
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 23rd day of January, 1962.
