A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY ODUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CHANGING THE NAME OF
EUCLID AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM,
TO EUCLID STREET.
WHEREAS, the Orange County Street Naming Committee
has requested that, in order to create less confusion to the
public and give continuous streets the same name in all cities,
the names of the streets in the Hiatt Street- Nicolas Avenue
Euclid Avenue- Verano Street alignment should be changed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the cities of
Fullerton, La Habra, Garden Grove and Fountain Valley have
either adopted or signified their intention to adopt the
name "Euclid Street" for those portions of said street con-
tinuing through their respective cities; and
WHEREAS, after a thorough study of the matter, the
City Council does find that the assignment of the name of
Euclid Street to Euclid Avenue, in the City of Anaheim, will
result in less confusion to the public and that, by reason
of the foregoing facts, public convenience and necessity
require that said name be changed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the name of Euclid Avenue, in
the City of Anaheim, be, and the same is hereby changed to
Euclid Street.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 16th day of January, 1962.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 62R -37 was
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting provided_by law, of
the City Council of the City of Anaheim, held on the 16th day of
January, 1962, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Chandler, Coons, Fry, Thompson
and Schutte.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Resolution No. 62R -37 on the
16th day of January, 1962.
