A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
AN AMENtVIENT TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN OWNER
AND ARCHITECT BETWEEN EARL G. KALTENBACH
AND ASSOCIATES AND THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City has entered into a contract with
Earl G. Kaltenbach and Associates under date of May 23, 1961,
for architectural services in the preparation of plans and
specifications for a City Fire Headquarters Building; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to secure the services of
said Architect in the preparation of plans and specifications
for the addition of a basement fallout shelter in connection
with said City Fire Headquarters Building; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the additional
fee involved in the amount of $4,417.00 is commensurate with
the additional services to be performed by said Architect;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the contract between Earl G.
Kaltenbach and Associates and the City of Anaheim to render
architectural services for the City of Anaheim in the prepar-
ation of plans and specifications for construction of a City
Fire Headquarters Building be amended to include the addition
of a basement fallout shelter and to increase the architec-
tural fee by the amount of $4,417.00, upon the terms and
conditions set forth in that certain Amendment to Agreement
Between Owner and Architect dated January 16, 1962, this
day submitted to the City Council and incorporated herein
by reference and made a part hereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said agreement
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 16th day of January 1962.
