1962-0020WHEREAS, Section 14.44.020 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
establishes Parking Meter Zones in the City and Section 14.44.030
thereof provides for the installation of parking meters within
such zones by resolution of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council to
remove all parking meters in the established Parking Meter Zones
except those controlling parking at the parking spaces marked
green; and
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council to
remove such parking meters for a trial period of six months;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Director of
Public Works and Superintendent of Streets be and he is hereby dir-
ected and instructed to remove all parking meters presently installed
in the established Parking Meter Zones with the exception of those
parking meters controlling the established green zones.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that such removal shall be
effective for a trial period of six months commencing February 1,
1962, and such meters shall not be reinstalled except by further
resolution of this Council.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
9th day of January, 19621
