1962-0015WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceedings
No. 61 -62 -32 to consider amendments to Ordinance No. 878 in
Reclassification Proceedings No. F- 53 -54 -9, and at said hearing
did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolu-
tion containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evi-
dence presented at said hearing and a recommendation that the
proposed amendments to Ordinance No. 878 be adopted by the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 2nd day of
January, 1962, as the time, and the City Council Chambers in
the City Hall in the City of Anaheim as the place for a public
hearing upon said proposed amendments to said Ordinance No.
878, and did give notice thereof in the manner and form as
provided in Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings, and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the proposed amendments to said Ordinance No. 878 should be
adopted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Ordinance No. 878 in Reclassifi-
cation Proceedings No. F- 53 -54 9 be amended by correcting the
description of the property contained therein to read as
follows:
RESOLUTION NO. 62R -15
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
All that property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows:
A parcel of property located on the west side of
East Street, between Water and South Streets, and
having a depth of 150 feet from the westerly right
of way line of East Street.

and by eliminating therefrom the conditions contained therein
relating to a 16 -foot driveway along all of the property, to
a fence or other barrier on said driveway, and to entrances on
East Street, and by adding and imposing the following conditions:
1. That sidewalks shall be installed along all parcels
of subject property and that curbs and gutters shall
be installed, where they do not now exist, in accord-
ance with standard plans and specifications on file in
the Office of the City Engineer.
2. That the existing driveway on Parcel No. 4, said
parcel being shown on plans marked "Exhibit No. 6" on file
with the City of Anaheim, shall be removed and re-
placed with a standard curb and gutter; and that
a commercial driveway centrally located on the east
side of said parcel, of a maximum width of 30 feet,
shall be installed as required by the City Engineer
and in accordance with standard plans and specifications
on file in the Office of the City Engineer.
That a commercial driveway, of a maximum width of
30 feet,shall be installed on the north 15 feet of
of Parcel No. 3 and on the south 15 feet of Parcel No. 2,
shown on Exhibit No. 6 on file with the City of Anaheim,
as required by the City Engineer and in accordance
with standard plans and specifications on file in
the Office of the City Engineer.
That no driveways shall be constructed nor vehicular
access permitted on East Street except as provided
in Conditions Nos. 2 and 3 hereof.
That landscaping shall be installed and maintained
in the 25 -foot landscape area of the 60 -foot P -L,
Parking Landscaping Zone, on Parcels Nos. 1, 2, 3
and 4, shown on said Exhibit No. 6 on file with the
City of Anaheim, plans for such landscaping to be
submitted to and approved by the Superintendent of
Parkway Maintenance of the City of Anaheim.
6. That an area 7.3 feet in width shall be landscaped
in the parkway portion of the East Street right of
way across Parcels Nos. 1 through 4, shown on
Exhibit No. 6 on file with the City; that plans for
said landscaping shall be submitted to and approved
by the Superintendent of Parkway Maintenance of the
City of Anaheim; and that said landscaping shall
be maintained by the City of Anaheim.
7. That the owners of subject property shall install
a watering system which will provide proper maintenance
of the landscaping required in Conditions Nos. 5 and
6 hereof, and that the plans for said watering system
shall be submitted to and approved by the Superintendent
of Parkway Maintenance of the City of Anaheim.
8. That no flashing nor neon lights shall be installed
on subject property and no signs shall be installed
in the 25 -foot landscaped portion of the 60 -foot
P -L, Parking Landscaping Zone of Parcels Nos. 1
through 4, shown on said Exhibit No. 6, nor in the
parkway portion of the highway right of way on East
Street abutting subject property.
9. That the owners of subject property shall dedicate
to the City of Anaheim all access rights to East
Street, except a 30 -foot access right between
Parcels 2 and 3, a 30 -foot access right on Parcel
No. L. and access rights for two 30 -foot driveways
on Parcel No. 5, said parcels being shown on
Exhibit No. 6 on file with the City.
10. That all of the above conditions shall be complied
with within a period of 180 days from date hereof,
or such further time as the City Council may grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be,
and he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare an
ordinance amending Ordinance No. 878 as hereinabove specified.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
