RESOLUTION NO. 62R 11
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AND SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY
WITH REFERENCE TO'IHE IMPROVEMENT OF BALL ROAD,
CROSSING NO. BK- 511,3, BETWEEN ANAHEIM AND
SOUTH ANAHEIM IN THE COUNTY OF ORANGE.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and the Southern Pacific
Company desire to enter into an agreement for the improvement
of Ball Road, Crossing No, BK- 511.3, between Anaheim and South
Anaheim, in the County of Orange, State of, California; and
WHEREAS, the Southern Pacific Company has this day
tendered to the City of Anaheim a form of agreement to be made
and entered into by and between the City and said Southern
Pacific Company for said improvement of Ball Road, which agreement
the City Council finds would be for the benefit and best interest
of the City and should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the agreement this day tendered to
the City Council by the Southern Pacific Company to be made
and entered into by and between the City of Anaheim and said
Company for the improvement of Ball Road, Crossing No. BK- 511.3,
between Anaheim and South Anaheim, in the County of Orange, State
of California, upon the terms and conditions set forth insaid
agreement, be and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said agreement
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 2nd day of January, 1962.
