A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF A LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH THE
ATCHISON, TOPEKA AND SANTA FE RAILWAY COMPANY
GRANTING TO THE CITY A LICENSE TO USE CERTAIN
LAND SITUATED AT OR NEAR ANAHEIM FOR THE
WIDENING AND IMPROVEMENT OF BALL ROAD.
WHEREAS, the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway
Company, a Kansas corporation, has tendered to the City of
Anaheim a license agreement dated ;March 27, 1962, licensing
and permitting the City of Anaheim to use certain la14
for widening and improvement of Ball Road, subject to .t rights
and easements therein excepted and reserved, and upon the terms
and conditions therein set forth, the land being situated at or
near Anaheim and shown shaded on the print attached to said
License Agreement, numbered CECL 77- 29257, dated February 28,
1962, and marked Exhibit A! and
RESOLUTION NO. 62R 318
WHEREAS, said license agreement has this day been
submitted to the City Council for consideration, and the City
Council does find and determine that it would be for the benefit
and best interest of the City of Anaheim to enter into said
license agreement with said Railway Company;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the license agreement, dated March 27,
1962, tendered to the City of Anaheim by the Atchison, Topeka
and Santa Fe Railway Company, a Kansas corporation, licensing
and permitting the City of Anaheim to use certain land exclusively
for widening and improvement of Ball Road, subject to the rights
and easements therein excepted and reserved, and upon the terms
and conditions therein set forth, the land being situated at or
near Anaheim and shown shaded on the print attached to said
License Agreement, numbered CECL 77- 29257, dated February 28,
1962, and marked i A," be, and the same is hereby,
approved and accepted.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said
agreement above mentioned for and on behalf of the City of
Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 27th day of March, 1962.
