A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of TITAN DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION,
a California Corporation; JARVIS CASTETTER: ALBERT C. JOHNSON, JR.
and LORRAINE A. JOHNSON, to sell to the City of Anaheim the
follo*ing described real property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement
for road and public utility purposes, and more particularly
described as follows:
PARCEL ONE: An easement for road and public utility
purposes over, under and across that portion of the
Northwest quarter of Section 19, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, S.B.B. M., described as :follows:
Beginning at a point in the center line of Magnolia
Street which bears North 0 38 40" West 1048.07 feet
from the center line intersection of Magnolia Street
and Cerritos Avenue, said point being the intersection
of said center line of Magnolia Street, with the Westerly
prolongation of the Northerly line of Lots 32 through 49
of Tract No. 2653, as shown on a Map recorded in
Book 86, pages 47 through 49 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California, said point being
the true point of beginning; thence along said center
line of Magnolia Street North 0 381 40" West 272.45
feet, to an intersection with the Westerly prolongation
of the Northerly line of Lots 66 through 72 of said
Tract No. 2653; thence along said Westerly prolongation
of the Northerly line of Lots 66 through 72, North 89
17 55" East 1106,13 feet to a point which bears South
89° 17' 55 West 60.65 feet from the Northwest corner
of Lot 66 of Tract No. 2653, said point being on a curve
concave to the Northwest, a radial line through said
point bears North 81 28 46" West; thence Southwesterly
along said curve, having a radius of 50.00 feet, through
a delta angle of 115 41 36 a distance of 100.96
feet to the beginning of a reverse curve concave to the
Southwest, a radial line through said beginning bears
South 34 12 50" West; thence Westerly along said
curve, having a radius of 50.00 feet, through a delta
angle of 34 54 55", a distance of 30.47 feet; thence

of a curve concave to the Southeast; thence Southerly
along said curve, having a radius of 15.00 feet, through
a delta angle of 89° 561 35 a distance of 23.55 feet;
thence parallel with and 53.00 feet East of the center
line of Magnolia Street South 0 38 1 40" East 233.46
feet to a point on the North line of Lot 32 of said
Tract No. 2653, said point bears North 89 17t 55"
East 3.00 feet from the Northwest corner of said Lot
32; thence along the Northerly line of said Lot 32
and its Westerly prolongation thereof South 89 17 55"
West 53.00 feet to the true point of beginning.
PARCEL TWO: An easement for public utility purposes
over, under and across the Easterly five (5) feet of
the North 7.29 acres of the Southwest quarter of the
Northwest quarter of Section 19, Township L South,
Range 10 West, S.B.B. M.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM any portion thereof lying within
Parcel One above described.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 20th day of March 1962.
