A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit An easement for road and
Public utility purposes and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same trthe City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of BERT A LEWIS and
MF.T.RA R. T F.WTS, hilshand and wife,
to sell to the Cit of Anafieim the foT owing descr e- rea
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility pi,uppses
and more particularly described as followso
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Southerly 53.00 feet (as measured
at right angles from the center line of La Palma Avenue)
of the following described parcels of land:
PARCEL ONE: The South twenty (20) acres of the West thirty
(30) acres of the South half of the Southeast quarter of
Section 5, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M.,
as said Section is shown on a Map recorded in Book 51,
page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California,
PARCEL TWO: The West ten (10) acres of that portion
6T The Southwest quarter of Section 5, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, S.B.B. M., described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the South line of said Section,
distant East 30.15 chains from the Southwest corner of
said Section; thence North 20.225 chains; thence East
10.05 chains; thence South 20.22 chains to said South
line; thence West 10.05 chains to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
EE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to to the owners
of said real property, out of General Winds of tie City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00/0
