A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A PERMIT SUB-
MITTED BY THE ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL
DISTRICT TO THE CITY TO CONSTRUCT AND
MAINTAIN A STORM DRAIN INLET IN SAID
DISTRICT'S REINFORCED BOX CULVERT OF
THE ANAHEIM BARBER CITY CHANNEL AT
BROOKHURST STREET.-
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore made
application to the Orange County Flood Control District for
a permit to construct and maintain a storm drain inlet in
said District's reinforced box culvert of the Anaheim
Barber City Channel at Brookhurst Street; and
WHEREAS, plans for the installation of said storm
inlet designated °Brookhurst- Street Improvement Plans" have
been filed with and approved by said District's Flood Control
Engineer; and
WHEREAS, Orange County Flood Control District did
on February 26, 1962, submit to the City of Anaheim a form of
permit to be accepted by the City offering to grant to the
City permission to construct and maintain a, storm, drain inlet
in said District's reinforced box culvert of the Anaheim
Barber City Channel at Brookhurst Street in accordance with
City of Anaheim's Brookhurst Street Improvement Plans, subject
to the terms, covenants, conditions, and agreements therein
set forth to be kept, performed and observed by the City,
which permit the City Council finds would be for the benefit
and best interest of the City and should be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the permit of the Orange County
Flood Control District, No. 02662, submitted February 26,
1962, to the City of Anaheim granting to the City permission
to construct and maintain a storm drain inlet in said Dis-
trict's reinforced box culvert of the Anaheim Barber City
Channel at Brookhurst Street in accordance with City of
Anaheim's Brookhurst Street Improvement Plans, subject to
the terms, covenants, conditions, and agreements set forth
in said permit to be performed and observed by the City
of Anaheim, be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to accept said
permit submitted February 26, 1962, for and on behalf of the
City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 20th day of March 1962.
