A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A PERMIT SUBMITTED BY
THE ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT TO
THE CITY TO CONSTRUCT AND MAINTAIN A STORM
DRAIN INLET IN SAID DISTRICT REINFORCED
BOX CULVERT OF THE ANAHEIM- BARBER CITY
CHANNEL AT CERRITOS AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore made
application to the Orange County Flood Control District for
a permit to construct and maintain a storm drain inlet in
said District's reinforced box culvert of the Anaheim
Barber City Channel at Cerritos Avenue; and
WHEREAS, plans for the installation of said storm
drain inlet designated "Cerritos Avenue Storm Drain Improve-
ment Plans #5047 have been filed with and approved by said
District's Flotid Control Engineer; and
WHEREAS, Orange County Flood Control District did on
March 1, 1962, submit to the City Council a form of permit
to be accepted by the ,City of Anaheim offering to grant to
the City permission to construct and maintain said storm drain
inlet within said District's Anaheim- Barber City Channel,
subject to the terms, covenants, conditions, and agreements
therein set forth to be kept, performed and observed by the
City, which permit the City Council finds would be for the
benefit and best interest of the City and should be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the permit of the Orange County
Flood Control District, No. 03462, submitted March 1, 1962,
to the City of Anaheim, granting to the City permission to
construct and maintain a storm drain inlet in said District's
reinforced box culvert of the Anaheim Barber City Channel at
Cerritos Avenue in accordance with City of Anaheim's Cerritos
Avenue Storm Drain Improvement Plans 45047, and subject to
the terms, covenants, conditions, and agreementsset forth in
said permit to be performed and observed by the City of
Anaheim, be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to accept said
permit submitted March 1, 1962, for and on behalf of the
City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 13th day of March 1962.
