A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A CER-
TAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution declaring its in-
tention to change the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter men-
tioned and described, and did fix a time and place for the holding of
a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and did duly hold and conduct such pub-
lic hearing to consider said proposed change of zone or zones, and did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the
hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by formal
resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and reasons
for recommending an amendment to said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code to effect the proposed changes in the boundaries of the zone here-
inafter mentioned and described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the
City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the 13th
day of March 19 62 as the time and the Council Chamber
in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hear-
ing upon said proposed change of zone or zones, and did give notice
thereof in the manner and as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing,
the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing and did give
all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did re-
ceive evidence and reports, and did thereupon consider the recommenda-
tions of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the
property and area proposed to be changed from the zone in which it is
now situated to a different zone or zones, as hereinafter set forth,
is more suitable for the zone in which it is now incorporated, and that
a change of zone should not be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the City of Ana-
heim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
That portion of Lot 12 of Anaheim Extension, as
shown on a map of Survey by William Hamel, a copy
of which is shown in Book 3, pages 162 to 164 inclusive
of "Los Angeles County Maps," in the office of the
County Recorder of Orange County, California,
described as follows:
PARCEL 1.
Beginning at the center line of South Street at
Southwest corner of said Lot 12; thence on said
center line of South Street, North 74 -1/2 East
9.175 chains; thence North 15 -1/2 West 5.45
chains; thence South 74 -1/2° West 9.175 chains;
thence South 15 -1/2 East 5.45 chains to the
point of beginning.

land lying Westerly of a line that is parallel
with and distant Easterly 168.00 feet measured
at right angles from the center line of South

remain in R -1, ONE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, ZONE and R -O, ONE
FAMILY SUBURBAN, ZONE in which it is now incorporated, and
that the reclassification to C -1, NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL,
ZONE and R -3, MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, ZONE be denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 13th day of March, 1962.

adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
13th day of March, 1962, by the following vote of the members

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Coons.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
