1962-0210AT 4ST: RESOLUTION NO. 62R 210 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST OF EITHER PRIVATELY-OWNED OR PUBLICLY -OWNED PROP- ERTY HAS NOT BEEN MADE IN THE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS PERALTA HILLS ANNEXATION. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did on the 12th day of December, 1961, receive a written petition asking that certain territory described in said petition be annexed to the City of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, the, ,City Council did adopt Resolution No. 7L1..53, designating the said proposed annexation as PERALTA HILLS ANNEXATION; and WHEREAS, the City Council did fix the 6th day of February, 1962, at the hour of 7 :00 P.M., at the City Council Chamber in the City Hall of the, City of Anaheim, as the day, hour, and place when and where the City Council would hear protests made by the owner or owners of any real property within the territory proposed to be annexed; and WHEREAS, said hearing on protests was held on the 6th day of February, 1962, continued to the 6th day of March, 1962, and again held on said date; and WHEREAS, at said hearing and prior to the final ad*» journment thereof, owner or owners of publicly-owned property filed written protest in the amount of $710, together with a statement prepared by the County Assessor stating that the total value of publicly -owned land within said annexation, exclusive of the portion protested is $111,910; and WHEREAS, the value of privately -owned property within said annexation as shown on the last equalized assessment roll of the County is $71,300; and WHEREAS, at said hearing, and prior to the final adjournment thereof, owners of privately -owned property filed written protests in the amount of 20,280.00 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does find and declare: (1) that a majority protest of publicly owned property has not been made at said hearing; (2) that a majority protest of privately -owned property has not been made at said hearing.
