A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of J. C. COOMBS and MARY C.
COOMBS, husband and wife, to sell to the City of Anaheim the
following described real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used
for an easement for road and public utility purposes, and more
particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across a portion of Lot 2 in Section 5,
Township 4 South, Range 9 West, S.B.B, M., as shown
on an official plat of said land filed in the District
Land Office, March 23, 1875, lying Westerly of the right
of way of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad,
and lying within a strip of land 5 3.00 feet in width,
the Southerly line of said strip being parallel with the
following described Northerly line:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot One of Orange
Grove Acres, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 6,
page 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California, said Northwest corner being the intersection
of the West line of said Lot One and the center line
of La Palma Avenue, 40.00 feet in width, thence North
73 44r 00" East a distance of 81.32 feet to the be-
ginning of a tangent curve concave Northwesterly, having
a radius of 1000 feet; thence Easterly and Northeasterly
along said curve through a central angle of 12 59t 14"
an arc distance of 226.67 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve concave Southeasterly, having a radius
of 1000 feet; thence Northeasterly and Easterly along
said curve through a central angle of 31 09t WI" an
arc distance of 543.88 feet.
The South line of said 53.00 foot strip to terminate
at the intersection of the West line of said Lot 2 and
the South line of the Northerly 154.23 feet.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion of land conveyed to
the City of Anaheim by deed recorded December 6, 1960,
in Book 5536, page 516, as Instrument No. 212280, of
Official Records.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 27th day of February 1962.

do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
27th day of February 1962, by the following vote of the
members thereof.
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Chandler, Coons, Fry, Thompson and Schutte.
NOES COUNC ILMEN None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said resolution on the 27th day of
February 1962.
