1962-0157WHEREAS, the pay level of the employees of the Post Office Department is substandard to the extent that Postal` Employees find it economically necessary to be employed in a second job; and WHEREAS indicate that the Office Department tain a modest but family of four. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Anaheim urge, and it does hereby urge, theCongress,of the United States of America to take immediate action towards the passage of H.R. to the end that the salaries of Postal Employees be L' increased; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, directed to forward copies of this resolution to the congressional and senatorial repre- sentatives from this district.
