A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit° An easement for road and
public utility purposes and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered
to sell and convey the same tie City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of LEO FREEDMAN, an unmarried
man

property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
Public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the Northerly 60.00 feet of the West 720 feet and
a parcel of land lying Northwesterly of a curve concave South-
easterly having a radius of 15,00 feet, being tangent to the
South line of said Northerly 60.00 feet and tangent to the East
line of the West 60.00 feet of the following described land:
Beginning at a point on the East line of Section 22, Township
4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M., designated by a stake
marked "A 675 feet North of the Southeast corner of said
Section 22; thence North 645 feet along the East line of said
Section 22, to a point designated by a stake marked "B" at the
junction of the East line of said Section 22, with the South
line of land formerly owned by H. D. Polhemus; thence West
2640 feet parallel with the South line of said Section 22,
and at a uniform distance therefrom of 1320 feet to a point
designated by a stake marked "C thence South 645 feet parallel
with the East line of said Section 22 and at a uniform distance
therefrom of 2640 feet to a point designated by a stake marked
"D 675 feet distant from and North of the Southwest corner
of the Southeast quarter of said Section 22; thence East 2640
feet parallel with the South lire of said Section 22 and at a
uniform distance therefrom of 675' to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 13th day of February, 1962.

do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
13th day of February, 1962, by the following vote of the
members thereof;
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Chandler, Coons, Fry and Thompson.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Schutte.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor Pro Tem of the City
of Anaheim approved and signed said resolution on the 13th day
of February, 1962.
