A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
tat it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ROBERT WALTER STEWART, JR.
and ESTHER STEWART, husband and wife, to sell to the City of
Anaheim the following described real property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be
used for an easement for road and public utility purposes, and
more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across those parcels of land described as
follows:
PARCEL ONE: The Northerly 45.00 feet (as measured
at right angles to the center line of Broadway Avenue)
and the Easterly 53.00 feet (as measured at right
angles to the center line of Euclid Avenue) of the
East 245.00 feet of the North 319.25 feet of the
Northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of the
Northeast quarter of Section 17, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, S. B. B. M.
PARCEL TWO: Beginning at the Northeast corner of the
Southeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section
17, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S. B. B. M.,
(said Northeast corner being the center line inter-
section of Euclid Avenue and Broadway Avenue); thence
Southerly along the East line of the Southeast quarter
of the Northeast quarter of said Section 17, a distance
of 60.00 feet; thence Westerly along a line parallel
with the North line of the Southeast quarter of the
Northeast quarter of said Section 17, to the inter-
section with a line parallel with and 53.00 feet Westerly
of the East line of the Southeast quarter of the
Northeast quarter of said Section 17, said point of
intersection being the true point of beginning; thence
Northwesterly in a direct line to the intersection
with a line parallel with and 45.00 feet Southerly of
the North line of the Southeast quarter of the North-
east quarter of said Section 17, said point of inter-
section being distant 68.00 feet Westerly of the East

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 13th day of February 1962.

do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
13th day of February 1962, by the following vote of the
members thereof.

ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor /of the City of
