1962-0130RESOLUT ION NO. 62R 130 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility purposes; and WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell and convey the same to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of EDWARD C. CRONIN and ELAINE CRONIN, husband and wife, and JOHN D. CLAUSSEN and LORAINE C. CLAUSSEN, husband and wife, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes, and more particularly described as follows: An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across those parcels of land described as follows: PARCEL ONE: The Easterly 23.00 feet of the Westerly 53.00 feet and the Southerly 53.00 feet of the Southerly 203.00 feet of the West 203.00 feet of the Southwest quarter of Section 13, being a portion of Lot 41 in Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map thereof recorded in Book 2, Pages 256 and 257 of Patents of Los Angeles County, California. PARCEL TWO: Beginning at a point 68.00 feet North of the South line and 53.00 feet East of the West line of the Southwest quarter of Section 13, Township LL South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on said Map mentioned in Parcel One above described; thence in a direct line Southeasterly to the intersection with a line parallel with and 53.00 feet Northerly of the South line and distant 68.00 feet Easterly of the West line of the Southwest quarter of said Section 13; thence Westerly along a line parallel with and 53.00 feet Northerly of the South line of said Southwest quarter to the intersection with a line parallel with and 53.00 feet Easterly of the West line of the Southwest quarter of said Section 13; thence Northerly along the last mentioned parallel line to the point of beginning. be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said property. -1- BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00). me this ATTEST: THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by 13th day of February 1962.
